T&B is often looking for qualified candidates for the following employment descriptions:


Patent Attorney or Agent:

Candidate must have strong technical skills in one or more of the following areas: Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry. Electrical/Electronics Engineering is preferred; however other disciplines will be considered. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and be eager to learn and adapt to new technologies. Preferred candidates have one to two years experience at patent drafting. Strengths in technical writing, litigation, and related work experience are also considerations.

Support Staff:

Paralegal: Candidate preferably has training in Trademark/Unfair competition law. Candidate should be capable and willing to work independently with minimal attorney guidance. Candidate should be capable of using Westlaw for legal research, and be capable of managing their workload.

Legal Assistant: Candidate should be capable of multitasking. Be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat. Willing to train new personal with the right attitude and willingness to learn about the practice of Intellectual property law.
